Valley of the Sun United Way Campaign
Valley of the Sun United Way was looking to launch a campaign that brought awareness to the amount of children who go to school on an empty stomach everyday. Breakfast in the Classroom was an initiative that incorporated large organizations to provide breakfast and participate in the awareness of this national issue.
As art director with Sitewire, I had the opportunity to bring the campaign to life visually. Social media, email design and a visual storytelling web page communicated the opportunity for organizations to donate to the cause. I worked very closely with agency team members as well as key stakeholders at VSUW to bring this initiative to life.
The Breakfast in the Classroom program was “launched at a'43 elementary schools, helping thousands of students start the day off right to focus on their school work. Nearly 945,000 people received emergency food, and enrolled over 22,000 people in nutritional meal programs in the Valley of the Sun.”
